ICSI
What is ICSI?

ICSI – Intracytoplasmic Sperm into Egg Injection – is a method that allows to achieve egg fertilization and pregnancy even in the most severe forms of male infertility.
The ICSI method has allowed many women to experience the joy of motherhood.
Indications
Low fertilizing ability of sperm (significant decrease in the number of spermatozoa or their motility in seminal fluid; high quantity of pathological spermatozoa; presence of antisperm antibodies in semen, etc.);
Complete or almost complete absence of mobile and morphologically healthy spermatozoa in the ejaculate. Such conditions were relatively recently considered an absolute indication for IVF with donor sperm;
Age-related changes in the eggs that sometimes occur in women after forty years. As a result of these changes, the egg cell membrane becomes denser and fertilization, even with very good sperm parameters, becomes impossible - the spermatozoon cannot penetrate under the dense membrane;
Severe somatic diseases in which carrying a pregnancy is fraught with the further health or life of the recipient, but not affecting the health of the future child;
Several unsuccessful attempts at classical IVF.
