The independent British Commission for Accreditation of Medical Institutions around the world, headed by professors and clinical experts, after an in-depth audit, issued ISIDA a certificate of compliance with the international standard QHA Trent.
This was a recognition of the significant work that our clinic has done to meet the highest international standard of medical services.
The QHA Trent accreditation scheme is based on the best evidence-based practices in the field of corporate and clinical management that exist in the modern world. The focus of this standard is on the patient, his needs and safety at all stages of his stay in the clinic, where he receives proper medical care.
Oleg PETRENKO, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of the ISIDA Clinic: “The preparation for the international accreditation of our clinic according to the QHA Trent standard began in March 2016 and today, after the final assessment by international auditors, the result is visible: we have received accreditation, which for us, as well as our patients and partners, has become another confirmation of the high quality of our services – at the level of the best world samples.I would like to note that the main attention in the process of preparing for accreditation was paid to the leading areas of ISIDA’s work: obstetrics, gynecology, mammology, pediatrics, assisted reproductive technologies. For 24 years of its work, ISIDA has also earned high trust from foreign patients and partners. And in order to strengthen its reputation and further active international activity in the market of reproductive technologies, obtaining international accreditation has become a very important step.”
Dedication to professional values, high quality of services, priority of patient safety issues, continuous training and staff development have been and remain the main principles of our activities. ISIDA became the first clinic among private medical institutions in Ukraine to receive in 2006 a certificate of compliance with ISO 9001-2000 standards (LGA – InterCert, Germany), which was repeatedly confirmed as part of supervisory audits and in 2014 was brought to the updated requirements of ISO 9001-2008 (TUVRheinland). And today, having received accreditation according to the QHA Trent standard for a period of two years, ISIDA has again won the championship among private clinics in Ukraine, confirming the high world level of its services in a number of points that underlie the QHA Trent accreditation scheme.
Oleg PETRENKO, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of the ISIDA Clinic: “The willingness of our clinic to maintain the highest level of quality of medical care, the ability to prevent risks and respond quickly to them, to find and retain the most qualified personnel, including to contribute to their continuous training and improvement are important accreditation criteria.”
The requirements that underlie international quality standards in healthcare are not limited only to the assessment of the provision of medical services at the doctor –patient level, practices and methods of treatment and the level of logistics of the clinic. We are talking about the activities of a medical institution as a whole, the formation of its internal corporate culture and coexistence with the outside world: the inadmissibility of discrimination against all participants in the clinical process, the guarantee of caring for clients with special needs, responsible attitude to natural resources and the environment.
Oleg PETRENKO, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of the ISIDA Clinic: “We don’t stop there: we are constantly improving the quality of our services in order to always be one step ahead, meeting the needs of our patients and even anticipating them.”
