It’s time to sum up the results of the past 2017 and emphasize the invaluable experience and knowledge acquired by the specialists of the ISIDA clinic at international events in the field of science and medicine this year.
The best reproductologists, geneticists and biologists of our clinic annually improve their qualifications by attending various conferences, congresses, symposiums and workshops in various parts of the world. Thanks to professional development programs, our doctors have a unique opportunity to get up-to-date information about new developments in the ART world, as well as share their own experience and achievements with foreign colleagues.
The most significant international events attended by specialists of our clinic in 2017 were:
- January 2017 – 2nd World Congress on Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (Cannes, France)
- March 2017 – International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (Brussels, Belgium)
- June 2017 – The Fetal Medicine Foundation (Ljubljana, Slovenia)
- July 2017 – ESHRE (Geneva, Switzerland)
- September 2017 – European Congress of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension of Pregnant Women (Berlin, Germany)
- October 2017 – EAP Congress 2017 (European Academy of Pediatrics) (Ljubljana, Slovenia)
Moreover, at the EAR Congress, the pediatrician of the ISIDA clinic, Maria Krepak, made a poster report “Assessment of the health status of children born using in vitro fertilization”. In her report, Dr. Krepak drew the attention of foreign colleagues to the special importance of monitoring children born as a result of the use of ART programs. She also called on the heads of the European Academy of Pediatrics and the organizers of the “European Academy of Paediatrics 2017” to fully support the collection of data on the health status of children born through the use of assisted reproductive technologies.
I would also like to note that this year doctors from the ART department of the ISIDA clinic have completed internships at the clinics REPROMEDA (Czech Republic), ORIGIO (Denmark), REPROART (Georgia), and pediatricians, neonatologists and obstetricians-gynecologists have trained at the clinic “Kaplan” (Israel).
Participation in such international events has a positive effect on the activities of the clinic as a whole: new technologies and methods of treatment are being introduced, the overall medical strategy is being improved, and the level of quality of services provided is increasing. The knowledge and experience gained in 2017 will help our specialists reach new professional heights and give invaluable happiness to even more childless couples.
