Reproductologists Irina Kapshuk, Miroslava Vatsik, Natalia Alipova and Natalia Redko completed a training course at EXCEED WORKSHOP

On September 21, 2018, a group exhibition-WORKSHOP “Increasing success in art «Was held in Kiev: how to identify it and key strategies for getting the best results.» The conference was devoted to the issues of increasing the success of ART programs, in particular, identifying ways and opportunities to get a better result, and the lecturers were well-known scientists and practicing reproductive doctors from all over the world.

Representatives of the ISIDA clinic also took part in this event: Miroslava Vatsik, obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist; Irina Kapshuk, obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist; Natalia Redko, obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist, gynecologist-endocrinologist and Natalia Alipova, obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductologist.

“The conference discussed the indicators that should be used in the work of the reproductive clinic (live birth rate, time to pregnancy, multiple birth), as well as ways to improve these indicators, – Natalia Redko comments on her participation in the conference. – One of the directions is to obtain the optimal number of eggs to produce a euploid embryo. Ways of optimization were discussed at the conference. This is a personalized protocol of controlled ovarian stimulation, an individual selection of a drug for controlled ovarian stimulation, the choice of which depends on the assessment of a woman’s potential response based on an estimate of the number of antral follicles and anti-muller hormone.”

Also, the speakers of the event have developed POSEIDON criteria that help to individually select a stimulation protocol. In addition, the issues of single embryo transfer and preimplantation genetic diagnosis of embryos by the NGS method were actively discussed. The conference participants came to the unanimous conclusion that due to the transfer of the studied embryos, the live birth rate significantly increases, and the eSET method is the prevention of multiple pregnancies and its severe complications.

“The report on the strategy of improving the manufacturability of the biolab was particularly interesting, due to which the quality of embryo cultivation is improved. Today, the whole world transfers embryos at the blastocyst stage, and this is possible thanks to the development of modern embryology. Vitrification is also used for freezing and preserving embryos. This made it possible to apply the “Freeze all” strategy more widely in patients with PCOS for the prevention of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome”, – Irina Kapshuk shared her impressions.

Participation in such seminars, live communication with the best reproductologists of the world allows participants to improve their knowledge, learn from the experience of colleagues from other clinics and share their practical achievements and achievements. The EXCEMED WORKSHOP gave our specialists the opportunity to discuss topics of concern to them in direct communication with scientists, to determine their opinion on topics that were the subject of disputes and innovative developments of the best reproductologists in the world. We hope that the knowledge and experience gained will help them reach new professional heights and give invaluable happiness to even more childless couples.
