A child who has just been born finds himself in a completely new environment for himself and immediately faces many different factors. During this difficult and extremely important period, the baby requires careful medical control over his development. Doctors pay special attention to the issues of caring for children born prematurely, create all conditions for the preservation of their life and health. To this end, the ISIDA clinic regularly purchases modern medical equipment for its neonatology department and takes care of improving the level of qualification of neonatologists.
So, at the end of last year, Olesya Anatolyevna Kluban, a neonatologist at the ISIDA clinic, completed an internship at the neonatology department of the Szpital Kliniczny im clinic. Princess Anne Maz. This is one of the oldest and most famous clinics in Poland, where about 3,000 – 3,500 children are born every year. Each place in the neonatal intensive care unit is equipped with an incubator, breathing equipment, racks with lineomats, tracking equipment. During the year, 20-25 children go through therapeutic hypothermia; the clinic practices the use of high-frequency ventilation in deeply premature babies. The Department of Pathology of newborns consists of two boxes, two posts of nurses, monitors for tracking each child are displayed on the post. In this department, the second stage of nursing of premature babies is carried out.
“During the internship, Polish doctors talked about the organization of parenteral nutrition for premature babies in the clinic, shared their experience of using sedatives to relieve pain syndrome – during procedures, ventilation, intubation, therapeutic hypothermia, anxiety and excitement. The issues of the use of phototherapy, vaccination of healthy children and many other issues from the field of neonatology were also raised”, – Olesya Kluban shared her impressions about the internship.
Olesya Anatolyevna Kluban is a neonatologist of the highest qualification category, specializing in the observation and treatment of children in need of primary resuscitation and intensive care, nursing of deeply premature babies using invasive and non–invasive ventilators, as well as ultrasound diagnostics. A member of the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine, Dr. Tuber has 22 years of professional experience, and has been working at the ISIDA clinic since 2004. The doctor takes part in the annual congress of Perinatologists and the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine, regularly attends specialized conferences. Every 5 years, he takes advanced training courses in the specialty “Neonatology” on the basis of the P.L. Shupik NMAPO and certification for primary resuscitation of newborns.
