What will happen if the embryo implantation in the ART program occurs with violations? Pregnancy loss, complicated childbirth? Is it possible to avoid these dangers and increase the chances of a successful pregnancy? The answers to these and other questions were given by the doctors of the ISIDA clinic during the unique master class “Implantation”, which took place on November 30, 2018.
The head of the infertility treatment department, the head of the Miscarriage Treatment Center, a reproductologist, a geneticist, an ultrasound doctor Ksenia Khazhilenko, the chief physician of the Infertility Treatment Center, a reproductologist Svetlana Shiyanova and a pediatrician, medical director Andrey Vilensky made reports on implantation disorders, pregnancy problems and complications in childbirth. The participants of the master class were the best gynecologists and reproductologists from various medical institutions of Ukraine.
The master class was held in a friendly atmosphere, some problems of fertility disorders were raised in the format of discussions, during which doctors from various clinics in Ukraine shared their practical experience with each other, considered the influence of various factors on embryo implantation. The participants of the master class analyzed clinical cases and found the root cause of various problems with which patients turn to both a gynecologist and a reproductologist. The influence of various inflammatory processes on the likelihood of a successful pregnancy, immunological aspects of fertility disorders, congenital and acquired uterine abnormalities, intrauterine pathology – the doctors of the ISIDA clinic shared with colleagues their accumulated practical experience in solving these and other problems.
Svetlana Shiyanova, the chief physician of the Infertility Treatment Center, a reproductive doctor, offered the participants of the master class reports on the topic “Understanding endometrial receptivity. Implantation window”, “Which interferes with normal adhesion. Intrauterine pathology”, “Congenital and acquired uterine abnormalities”. The great interest of doctors was also aroused by the report of Ksenia Khazhilenko “Long-term consequences. A small unsuccessful implantation and a big perinatal problem.”
