International quality standards: for the second time ISIDA received QHA Trent accreditation certificate
On October 24-26, 2018, ISIDA successfully passed an independent audit for compliance of the quality of medical services provided in the clinic in accordance to the international standards. As a result, for the second time our clinic received a certificate of international accreditation of medical institutions according to the British standard QHA Trent valid for a period of three years.
The certificate of accreditation in the field of medical quality according to the international standard QHA Trent (UK) is an industry standard for quality, issued by an independent expert committee of the United Kingdom. QHA Trent is a comprehensive standard applied to evaluate conformity of healthcare institutions with a special focus on services provided by them. Unlike ISO which is a manufacturing standard that describes unified processes occurring in any organization, QHA Trent is designed specifically for healthcare field and accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care. Previously, ISIDA clinic received QHA Trent certificate in autumn 2016.
This time also, the inspectors were very pleased with the level and organization of the processes in the clinic, the implementation of new policies and procedures that help ISIDA meet European and international quality standards. Committee members noted the high level of professionalism of all specialists, the desire for improvement and a focus on the needs of the patient. The result of the committee work leaded not only to receiving QHA Trent accreditation certificate, but also to completing the Family and Friends Test. Successful completion of this test means that the committee members will gladly recommend ISIDA to their relatives and friends. The Family and Friends Test exists at the state level in the UK and the UK National Health Service publishes the test results. For ISIDA clinic, this is a very valuable recognition!
Receiving another QHA Trent certificate is a great honor for ISIDA and a great achievement for the whole team.
